Finally... It's been hectic around here and down there! And when we are that busy, there are a million pictures. And when there are that many pictures to download and sift through I get overwhelmed and can't choose. So I just don't.
We baptized Mia last weekend. At long last. Linda, Michael's mom, came in for the affair and we all piled into the Mummy mobile and headed down to Indy. Originally we had wanted to become members of a church up here and have her baptized but we never got around to it. I had the form filled out and my baptismal certificate ready to go, but something happened. So, instead, we did the easy thing and had my Mum organize it all for us! Thank you Mummy! Old family friends of ours from North Carolina, Jim and Judy and their Indy son, Dan, joined us. As did Nee Fern and Moriah. Rina, Mihai and Sebastien decided they had better things to do in Maryland... Our Little Girl did really well until the last few minutes when she began to cry. For no apparent reason.
We had a great visit with Linda. Nikolas took full advantage of his grandmother and had her read book after book after book. They did their exercises together a couple of times. We went out to the Museum of Science and Industry to see the Bodyworlds exhibit. It was amazing, I highly recommend it. Just wish we had more time to gawk and gander at the specimens. Would have been nice to be able to take pictures too, the postcards didn't do it justice.
We've had another snow storm work its way through our neck of the woods. Michael has had his fill of snow shoveling! Nikolas joined him in his endeavors this afternoon as they cleared a mountain of snow from the deck. Our Little Fellow had a blast hiking to the top of "Mount Nikolas"!
