Hoppy Easter! We had a great day gearing up for Easter today! Marina, Mihai and Sebastien arrived just in time for breakfast and after blowing off some energy with toys, we dyed eggs. No dye was found in unwanted places. All eggs turned out fabulous; wonderful, bright, vibrant colors. The kids did a great job! After lunch and naps taken by all but Michael and I, we had an afternoon Easter party. We had planned on a 4pm egg hunt but the looming grey clouds were cause to move it up. The younger of the kids had quite a bit of help while the three older boys zipped around in search for the most. Even if it meant taking them from the little ones... I had cut out eggs and butterflies for the kids to decorate while Michael and Mihai hid the eggs.
Nikolas made this all on his own. No prompting from me. He wanted to be the Easter bunny for our egg hunt. He asked what color was on the inside of the bunny's ears. Then queried me about what color clothes he should wear to be the bunny. Fortunately, come time to go scrambling about the garden for eggs, his desire to dress up was forgotten.
I tried taking pictures of the three cousins in their Easter garb together. Despite bubbles and lots of cheerleaders and encouragement, my attempts were foiled. There are few pictures of Nikolas because he couldn't find his smile today. Mia was eager to plant a kiss on Sebi's cheek while he busily played with his cars.
