... in a growing pond! Great news arrived on Wednesday! Long awaited news. This little fish of mine has practiced long and hard and put in his hours of stretching. He has dedicated two afternoons a week and forsaken other sports for this one. And finally, he has been given the go ahead to advance to the next level of the team! We now have a Novice Silver swimmer! Way to go kiddo! So very proud of you!
Today was also report card day. Not only is he a budding swimmer but a brilliant student; all E's for Excellent. Straight E's and perfect attendance to date! My little smarty pants. We went out to dinner to the restaurant of his choosing to celebrate and tomorrow we're taking our report card to Krispy Kreme for another reward; each E earns him a piping hot glazed donut!
And then, just because you can't leave her out, Mizzy Moo pics and a little "Mia'ism". She and I were snuggling with our books on Wednesday morning, I had a chapter left of my book. She's reading her book aloud. I kindly ask that she read to herself as I can't concentrate on my book. My reply; "But Mum I like talking and I like talking to myself. Just like you do!" Well! How do you argue with that?!
