I have lots of fantastic recent pics but I was sifting through the box of older pics and came across these of Mizzy Moo and her first bottle of breast milk. I just had to scrap them and had the perfect paper and idea in mind for them. I am ALL about this manufacturer; My Little Shoebox. The papers are so bright and fun and the embellishments make it so easy to stick with one line. Easy yet detailed scrapbooking! I love the lace trim all around. Wasn't so sure at first but it turned out pretty nifty, don't you think?
Sigh... these pictures really make me miss the baby phase... NO more for us, we're done. I couldn't do the up 3-4 times a night thing all over again. But isn't she cute? And doesn't she just look so serene and quiet laying there, content, in her Daddy's lap with those big ol' eyes. Quiet. Not running. Not arguing with her big brother... Not that I'm complaining or anything!...
This morning she was running on the house with her socks on. On the hardwood floor. I probably don't need say anything else about what happened next. Because, yes, she did. And yes she did scream and cry and carry on. Until I came downstairs wondering what on earth had just happened. The minute she saw me she changed her tune to this sobby "I know I"m in trouble" noise. Fortunately she didn't hurt herself but I think she learned a lesson. A short lesson 'cos you'll never guess who was running on the floor in her socks this afternoon!?!...
She is pretty darn cute the rest of the time, really. This evening at dinner she was talking about her "ankle on her hand" as she's pointing to her knuckles! Redemption!
Check this out; Sketchy Thursdays Scroll down the page and there's Nikolas featured in my layout! Another "faves"! He's always tickled pink to see himself on the I'net like he's done something fantastic! I love his enthusiasm lately! Wish that it could be that simple for me. Don't get me wrong, I too was thrilled to see my work there. I just wish that that could be enough.
