Seeking some inspiration, I have been playing along with color challenges over at Color Combos Galore. However, on my latest trip there the site doesn't seem to be updated. Prompting me to hop over to what I believe is a "sister" site, owned by the same person and played along there this week at CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration.
I absolutely LOVE, love, love this layout!! I must say it's definitely one of my top favorites of layouts I've completed lately!! Possibly ever! No sketch, just the coordination of some great color requirements, elements and "testimony"!
I have had those Marvy leaf punches for ages upon ages! They have layers upon layers of dust followed by dust buffalo's on them they are so ancient! But they created the perfect leaves to compliment this layout! They look just like strawberry leaves me thinks!
I dash of paint here and a splash of splatter there! So awefully brave was I to do that too... I avoid mess when I scrap. My space is in a carpeted area and I would lose all rights to messiness if anything were to transcend beyond it's designated space and land on the barren beige cleanness... I tremble in fear whenever I find the urge to use such mess inciting tools.
I made those buttons all by my very self! With my trusty little inspector standing over my shoulder, ensuring the acuaracy of my technique. Snagging one for her little self, in the process!! The fabric is from Michael Miller should you find yourself in need. I'd be happy to send you one or two too. I have a whole drawer full of "fat quarters" specifically with button making in mind. I do not "need" that many strawberry buttons!!
