Today's the first day of Imaginisce's release party for the Good Dog collection!! I had a BLAST designing with this collection even though we aren't a doggie household. Part of the process for me included locating/taking dog pictures as well. The B sides of the papers are fantastic bright, cheery colors that don't require dogs but to use the embellishments, you really do need a dog. I tried... I did try producing a non-dog related layout but then none of the "goodies" would be there to share with you.
Meet Mocha! Mocha is our good friend and neighbor's new addition. He is adorable. And what better way to welcome a new pet than with a welcome sign? I couldn't help but add that little addition to the dog house!
I love that the layered stickers from Imaginisce are so diverse! You can pull them apart, relocate bits and pieces, use them as is. The dog bowl and the dog are the "innards" of stickers whose "backing's" I have saved as journal spots for another use.
A little "glam rock" for some pizzazz and some tiny fussy cut elements.
My first thought when this awesome paper arrived at my door was these pictures of my nephew and his stuffed puppies! When one can't have a dog in a tiny apartment in Paris, they're the next best thing; a boy's best friend!
I just the "journal spot" out of the "I love dogs" spot and turned it into a frame for one of these adorable pictures.
I used the iTop and made a brad to match with one of the cute paw prints in the stripes.
Each of the paw prints has a little Souffle border inside for some added pizzazz. Not that they aren't amazing on their own!
Be sure to swing by the Imaginisce blog this week and check out what the other ladies have put together. Leave a comment and you have the chance of winning some of this fantastic collection!
