As we wrap up the month of May, so too do we begin thinking about wrapping up the 2012-2013 school year. Though we only just celebrated Teacher Appreciation week in early May, we still like to thank the teachers for another great year. Imaginisce is celebrating teachers this week with some fantastic projects. Be sure to swing by the blog to see what inspiration you might find.
I made two cards, one for each primary teacher. I mixed old and new collections. Wanting to do something different and unique, I used the Geek is Chic collection as the inspiration for my cards with some more recent collections thrown in for an up to date look.
The stripes from Childhood Memories matched perfectly with the colors in the ruler paper from Geek is Chic! A piece of May Arts Ribbon wrapped things up nicely!
Those of you who follow my blog or pop in on a regular basis know that I am not a card gal. Making them is often challenge enough, never mind photographing them!! I tried! I really did... The angles on them are much more difficult to capture with some semblance of symmetry...
I "borrowed" a spring from an older Birthday line of Imaginisce's to spring load my stapler, providing a little bit of action on this card! Nikolas' teacher has really been hard on him but rightly so. In doing so, she has really pushed him to become a better student. We have seen her enthusiasm in HIM and his individual needs. He has been blessed to have such a wonderful teacher. She truly has been a "staple" in his life this year and a pivotal part of his education. This card was made with Mrs. Doyle in mind.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, concludes our session for year end cards! I hope you found some inspiration. Do you make your own teacher cards/projects? Have you done so with Imaginisce? I would love a link up to your cards or projects!
Tune in next time!
