I've been a bad blogger... It's tough to get posts up in the summer with our summer schedule. I work three days instead of four half days and when not at work, I'm at the pool (while the kids are IN the pool). Come evening, dinner must be made and eaten and then I'm ready to just collapse. It's been hectic, to say the least. But I'm trying! I am, indeed!
Today I have a layout based on the latest Elle's Studio sketch to share with you. I just love the bright colors of the Shine collection! They are right up my alley and suit the vibrancy of this young gal of ours!
I used 4x3 pictures and journal cards for the foundation of the Polaroid frames that were part of the sketch. I also used those Top Dog Dies that you saw a week or so ago for two of the Polaroid frames, similar to the layout that I created for my guest post.
That's "hello" card from the Elle's Studio Shine collection can be lifted for hidden journaling. When she's "in the mood" Mia said she would write something about her experience under there for me. It was truly an amazing experience to swim with these two Olympians. She got to race against them both!! In the picture above, you can see that she JUST got out touched by Klette. She chose to swim fly which was incredibly brave of her!
More fun bright colors using journal cards and bits and pieces! That Fiskars wave punch gets a lot of use during the summers in the Lee-Bishop household! ;)
Part of the goodie bag that Mia received included some of these stickers so I was able to snag one to use on the layout!
That's is from me today! Hope this post finds you well and finding some time to yourself!
