I just can't turn down a good sketch!! While out trolling around for challenges before the crop I went to on Saturday, I found this fantastic sketch by Waleska on the Elle's Studio blog. And I played along!
My interpretation is pretty literal - quite unusual for me. But I really liked the blocked look with the clean lines.
Just about everything on here is Elle's Studio. Just about... With the exception of a sticker or two, some patterned paper and the cardstock (that's Core, of course!). Love the Noel collection!
Cheeky little elfkin! Just like the one helping me in the kitchen, baking the afternoon away!
One of the MANY red ink pads I've collected lately. I have been on the hunt for the perfect red ink pad. I think I've discovered the one that tugs at my heart strings and makes me happy. I think it's the VersaFine red. To match my black. But I'll have to confirm later in the season. After more red ink stamping. I foresee more of it in my future.
I pondered long and hard over the merits of another picture versus the "joy and peace" that I ended up with. Wanting to work with pictures that I already had printed and not finding anything to fit in that polaroid frame, it was the embellies by default!
How are your Christmas preparations coming along? Have you done any Christmas baking yet? We haven't... With the disbanding of my scrappy group, there will be no cookie swap this year... Alas... Just might have to have a little bake off with my elf!
