I am not a card maker. Not really. I used to create cards for Sketch Support, sometimes. Oh, alright, rarely. I usually did use the card sketch for a layout, you're right. But I did make a card or two! I have found myself increasingly inspired to create a card. And, as it's World Card Making Day, I had to participate.
I was inspired by a challenge over at Unity Stamps to create a cards using embossing and your favorite Unity stamps. I have a fair number of Itty Bitty's that wanted some attention. This airplane won. It's heat embossed with some Tim Holtz distress embossing powder.
I had fun misting, again. I am growing quite fond of my mist! As I managed to knock over a cup of coffee on my scrappy table this morning, I'm no longer quite so worried about getting mist on the ecru carpet... No worried, I had cleared my space as I had just wrapped up my latest project and shoved things aside. Only casualty was my cutting mat. It needed cleaning anyway. Back to the mist, you can't tell with all the stuff on top but the plane is flying in the clouds!
I even used the accompanying sentiment and stamped it inside! Now to find a friend who's going on a trip to bestow my card upon...
Did you create anything for WCMD? Link me up, I'd love to see what you did!
