Dynamic Duo Blog Hop

Welcome to day 2 of the TaDa and Punky Sprouts blog hop!!

Today I am featuring the Punky Sprouts' Rebel Sprout mini album with the TaDa Goody Two Shoes Collection. Along with the mini album, I was sent some Punky Lil' Blooms. These things are AWESOME!! Love 'em. Need more of them! This album is titled "Being Four"; a collection of some of my favorite pictures of my youngest while 4 years old.

The album cover. I combined an acrylic page with a canvas page to create a multi layer cover. The acrylic has a cut out window (word to the wise; use scissors, it's too thick for the Big Shot). And, the Lil' Bloom. I misted it pink and rolled it then set it atop a crochet flower with some tulle for leaves.

I used some of the Mommy's Closet paper to make another flower. That Garden Girl is the perfect background paper to pop that picture of Mia and make those blue eyes pop!

Moving over to the other side of the trifold. Another acrylic page!! The perfect window to grow a garden! I trimmed down this side of the book as my type A, highlighted and bolded personality couldn't cope with the half inch hanging over the edge of the final page. Super easy to trim with my Fiskars trimmer and scissors.

These canvas pages are perfect for misting and painting! I even did an image transfer with a poem that Donna Downy has for download on her website.

And let's wrap it all up with;

That tag is another transfer. I used some Sticky Back canvas and transfered a piece of Straight Laced to it. I love how it softens the look and feel of the paper.

I just love this beautiful album. That flower on the front is gorgeous and I love how much texture is one each page. Beautiful photos, beautiful mini

Hi Suzanna! I am not commenting for the prize, I just wanted to let you know what a pleasant surprise it was for me this morning when I saw your layout on Sketch Support! Here I have been enjoying your work and did not realize it was you. I knew you had left CM but did not have your blog etc. Pat & I just finished taking Allison's Sketch support class.
