Quick share from my post over at TaDa Creative Studios today. A layout created using the Bountiful Blooms collection. I love the serenity in these papers. I could just move into the scenes one can create from these papers and laser cuts. Like this one of Mia reading in bed with Granny.
I really struggled with the composition of this layout! I had (unwisely) adhered the pictures all the way to the left hand side of the page and the toppers and bottom before realizing I had this GAPPING hole on the right. My original plan had been to fill it with journaling. That was not going to be balanced enough... What to do?! After, visualizing a bit of this, and some of that, the result turned out just fine. But it took some doing!
Mia cannot wait until 7am on the mornings that her Granny is here. She probably sits, perched at the edge of her bed with her book in hand, counting down the minutes and seconds until the clock strikes 7:00. Several days she was sent back to bed as she arose prematurely. At 7 on the dot she has bolted up the stairs and is snuggled in bed with Granny reading. I still haven't figured out where Ah Kong gets dispensed to!
I fussy cut a lot on this page! Some of the circle blooms were cut and pop dotted to add depth to the garden. An "Ivy League" stem is growing in the right hand corner of the garden. I love the texture of the velvet and the hemp string amongst the blooms.
I hope your life is full of blooms and snuggles in bed! Thanks for stopping by!
Elegant solution and layout too - those circles are perfectly cut and placed. Ah, how very sweet of Mia to wait till 7.00 a.m. I will have to get this through to my son and grandson when we visit in a week or so!
