Being 10, potty words are still a hit with this young fellow! Pooh is and always has been a favorite, for generations, so when we found him on our trip to Disney last Spring break there was a great big grin of welcome! Pooh was feeling equally as delighted in his visitor that day. Made for a fantastic photo!
The October main kit from 3 Scrappy Boys are the foundation of this layout with a few great add on's that I used to really make it mine. Like that "notes" stamp from Elle's Studio, the labels from Jenni Bowlin, some washi and the cutting elements (die from Die-Namics and punch from EK Success).
I don't usually like elements hanging off the page but it worked perfectly in this instance. Got to live a little!!
My journaling will eventually be housed in that 7 Gypsies envelope. Maybe? Someday... I haven't been very good about journaling lately. Do you ever just feel the picture tells enough of the story, says it all? Or perhaps that's my excuse to be lazy...
I couldn't resist that stamp set from Elle's Studio! It appears to be sold out right now, bummer. I still recommend it if it gets restocked!! I have used them a bunch in the short time that they've been in my hot little hands. As sketch and layout reveals occur over the upcoming month, watch out for them!!
Sorry for my little hiatus lately... I've been busy creating, promise! Most of it you'll see in November as scrappy deadlines beckon but time is thin. The WrinkLee's (my parents; for those of you who don't know, my last name is Lee, get it?) were here and we had a great visit. Busy touring parts of town I didn't know existed as we investigated potential houses for them to make home. Some day? Or maybe not... All I can say is I did my part to entice them. Ultimately, it's up to them. And the man above. Hopefully, we all have the same plan. Soon.
Ah, that's a happy page! Look how you've done the 'oo'. And good luck with the possible new home hunting. I know that my parents never regretted for a moment coming to be closer to us.
