Today is day 4 of the blog hop with Xyron! If you haven't been "hopping" with us, make sure you head to the Imaginisce blog for the details and get caught up. You don't have to visit each individuals' blog unless you want more details on each project or feel like leaving the love. This hop entails visiting the Xyron and Imaginisce blogs and commenting there for a chance at some amazing prizes.
The Imaginisce ladies were set the task of creating Easter themed projects utilizing Xyron's Megarunner and corner capable glue stick. I had this Easter basket Silhouette cut file burning a hole in my pocket and HAD to use it. What better way to find out how well glue sticks than when you're constructing with paper?
When our Xyron goodies arrived on my doorstep, I was thrilled to see the Megarunner amongst the collection. I have LONG been in search of an adhesive that "wow's" me since I bid my Kokuyo adhesive farewell (oh what a sad day that was...). I am pleased to say, I just might have found THE replacement. I like the dots, I've always preferred dotty adhesive for the simple fact that when you stop rolling, the adhesive stops. I also like that the dots allow you the ability to change your mind without having to redo the layout around the ripped up paper that ensued as a result! My other "beef" with some adhesives is starting over; threading those things and not losing bits and pieces can be challenging. Xyron's Megarunner is just a cartridge that you replace. I need to check into ability to recycle the cartridge and price. I also like that the Megarunner is more portable then my other ATG and has a cover over the dispenser part. So far, so good! Thanks Xyron!!
I just love the little bit of dimenstion that pops of the page with this Samantha Walker Easter basket cut file. The original file came with three easter eggs of a different variety. I had other things in mind. One of the many (okay, millions) of beauties of scrappin' and craftin', it's up to you! Just give credit where credit is due!
Lots of different Imaginisce papers and "bits" went into this layout. Again. I love the interchangability of the product lines! You'll see a few more of that variety from me coming in the near future.
Meanwhile, hop along and check out the amazing Xyron projects (I mean, AH-mazing!) and some more inspirational Easter goodness from the Imaginisce ladies! And, give the Megarunner a shot, it's a handy little ATG type adhesive that truly gives the Scotch ATG a run for it's money.
Wow, great techniques and adorable page. You rock!

Very pretty layout. It is simple and it highlights the main thing of the page - the picture of the bunny with the kids.
Great job.
