Yesterday I had two layouts up on the Coredinations blog that I'm sharing with you here on my own blog today. Ellen aptly titled the blog post "To sand or not to sand" as both layouts have sanded and unsanded Core cardstock.
Just about everything here on this layout is either Coredinations or embellishment in variety. There is but one teeny, tiny strip of patterened paper. That's it! Pretty amazing what you can do with Coredinations don't you think?
What's not to love about this? The iRock tool allowed me to repeat the circle theme setting some subtle pops of bling. The Cameo enabled me to create a fun, funky title that matches the fun pictures. The Sand It Gadget made some white pop in the pre-embossed Core to create both texture and color contrast.
Sigh... Do you ever sit back and admire your own handiwork? This is one of those layouts that I just LOVE. Love, love, love. I am very critical of my own work. It's not often that I can truly say, "I love it! And I created it!". This is one of those rare occasions.
Circles, circles and more circles! My intent here was to re-create the circle pattern on the cup and reflect that on the layout. I never really "re-created" but I sure did use a circle or two! You've seen this layout before if you visited back when Coredinations and Tombow hopped.
So! To sand or not to sand? Which is your preference? Which! Hah! Get it?! Which wich? From the sandwich bag above... Oh! Never mind! I shouldn't me laughing at my own (lame) jokes anyway!
