Hi! My name is Suzanna Lee and I'm a Chic Tags Hoarder! (I even have a pencil to prove it!) It has been 7 days since I last used a Chic Tag and I'm happy to share that layout with you!
I was inspired by the Chic Tags color challenge found HERE which is absolutely stunning. I just happened to have picked up ALL of the latest Chic Tags while at Scrapdoodles on my way to West Virginia last weekend and had to play along.
The Happy Place collection is sublime and perfectly suited to this challenge, wouldn't you agree? For my title I chose to use these Clips and just overlap one on top of the other. Lots of layering going on there. I used some of the Happy Place patterned paper in combination with some American Crafts that matched perfectly. Have you ever used Chic Tags paper? It's heavy - it's awesome. Especially for those of you who mist and do "grungy" things to your paper - it doesn't warp the way a lot of papers do. Makes picture taking a whole lot easier too!
Another of the Happy Place tags, this one a mini, that I combined with an "oldie yet a goodie" from the stash. Never leave home without your Chic Tags stash! All million and one pieces of it!!
Why would I actually pull out a paint brush and paint if I could use a stamp?! LOL!! And yes, I did "splat" my Distress stains again. Love it! Love that effect! It will be just the thing on Halloween layouts, don't you think?
Hopefully the weather will improve (we've had nothing but rain, rain and more rain around these parts lately...) and I'll be fortunate enough to get a great fall picture of the kids this year! What are you up to today? Whatever it may be, enjoy!
You have used those tags so prettily! And I do like the splashing and inking - great for Hallow'een. This is a lovely almost retro colourway ...
