This layout is just classicly me. You know there are certain things on a layout that just characterize you, that you use/do repeatedly and people know that it's yours without looking at the picture. Do you know what those things are for you layouts? I didn't until recently. Here are my thoughts; vellum, bright colors, linear, framed and noncharacteristic uses.
I like to use vellum. I use it a lot for additional embellishments on my layouts. In this case, the splats of "mess". I always use bright colors on my layouts. Typically, colors that coordinate with my pictures. I am very linear, everything has a place and is symmetrical about my layouts. I may not frame each picture, but the layout is always framed in some way, shape or form. I like to use girly papers on boy layouts or, such as here, Halloween themed papers for a messy room. I like to see out of the box and step out of the box.
Now, I'm very attached to my work. I see things differently than you do. Help me out here! Anything else that you see of my work that is characteristic of me? Something you agree with, disagree with? Something I missed? Do share!! Please!!
Love how linear your layouts are and how the star of the page is the photo...not how many layers you can cram on a layout at a time. LOVE your style and clean lines.

Love those splatters!
I'd agree you use bright colors and vellum in such cool ways. You do frame your layouts/pics (I do too). And you usually have included something (technique/product/etc...) that makes you go hmmm and come look! :)

I love your layouts because you tend to add a lot of small details that make me want to examine your pages. Love your linear style (I am definitely in that category as well.)
