We're gearing up for Halloween over at Imaginisce! For the next week and a half we'll be sharing with you Halloween projects created using Imasinisce. I'm up on the blog today sharing a Halloween layout created using the Black Ice collection and some bits and pieces of other collections for pops of Halloween color.
The diagonal stripes on the background paper all run one direction when you have a whole, uncut piece. I cut the paper into quarters and rotated each to create the nested squares that are behind the picture. Pretty neat effect, eh? It took "guts" to cut into that whole sheet of paper and not really know if I would like the outcome or not.
Yup! There's those Distress Stain splats once again! I love how different each one is! With a messy thing like pumpkin guts, you have to have a touch of "mess" reflected upon the page, don't you think?
Love that pumpkin grin! He's cut using an American Crafts file from the Silhouette store (Design ID #48935). Don't forget that Halloween files are 25% off until October 31st!
Very clever to cut the paper so as to create the focus on your central section and photo :).
