I just LOVE the colored, embossed letters that I made to go with this layout!! It's dead easy to do too! First, cut out the letters you want to use (I used my Silhouette). Then rub Distress on on your embossing folder, run the folder through the Big Shot (or other die cut machine) and voila! I would advise that you wait a short bit before removing the letters as they do "warp" a bit when wet from the stain.
A closer peek at that colored embossing! Doesn't the blue of the patterned paper embossed into the pink letters perfectly compliment the hot pink used in the background strip across the top? Perfect!
And another close up
Thanks for swinging by and I hope you give that technique a try. It's super easy yet the effect is remarkable!
Love the color combinations, but my favorite element is the title! What a cool technique! I will surely lift this and try it on a future project.
