Today I am sharing with you a layout I created with Imaginisce and a new to me company called Kiwi Lane Designs. Kiwi Lane sells templates that aide and abet you in your scrapping needs if you don't own a die cutting system of some sort. You trace the template onto your patterned paper then fussy cut the design for your own, unique, one of a kind, handmade die cut.
I paired my Tiny Holiday template with a variety of papers from Imaginisce to come up with this be-witching creation:
I used both the ghost and and the pumpkin from the template to enhance the Halloween feel on this layout. I love vellum! Better yet are vellum ghosts! Only problem with those little buggers are finding ways to adhere them to the page. Enter, googlie eyes!! These apparaitions are literally floating across the page as the only thing "grounding" them are said eyes. Just as Mia painted her pumpkin, I got to paint mine too! With Gelatos!! Note my ongoing obsession with them...
I wanted a little bit more purple in the layout to bring out the colors in Mia's witches costume. Problem being, not many companies use purple... Other than my Hot Rocks, I don't think I own anything purple from Imaginisce... At least, nothing I could match up. So, Hot Rocks applied with my i-Rock it was!! A select few Hot Rocks at the points of some Black Ice wrap things up nicely, don't you think?!
Well ladies, that's it for today!! Be sure to stop by the Pebbles blog tomorrow for more Halloween fun. I created a Project Life style layout that will feature in the Saturday Share feature. Also, come back here for another fall layout a la Chic Tags!
LOVE the vellum ghosts with the silly googly eyes!!!!
