T minus one and counting!! Difficult to believe that Halloween in only a day away... A DAY!! Tomorrow night the kids will be zipping from door to door in attempt to out do lasts year's haul of candy. Hopefully the weather will be conducive for trick or treating. I have a layout to share with you today not about that but of a key event in the pre-Halloween preparations; our pumpkins. Pre-Jack's, those ideal specimens that will become the Jack-O-Lanterns!
What better collection to scrap Halloween with than Pebble Inc's Thirty One collection?! I love, love, love it! The classic black, white and orange. The chevrons, the stars, the polka dots. They are just classic basics for Halloween. But then throw in the flowers, the numbers, the banners and it adds a fun twist to the classics.
The banner kit that is a part of this collection is a simple offering yet has so much potential for so much more! I used it here on my layout! Plain and simple with twine from The Twinery and the thread that comes with the kit dangling from the edges. Effective. The verbage on the banner is such that you could use it for any purpose really. I am pondering a Christmas banner... From Henry, our Elf on the Shelf. To go with the party he brings with him when he arrives... Maybe...
I just LOVE that flower paper. Love! It's different. It's unique. I love different and unique, you know that by now. What more is there to say about it?! I cut out the number 20 and used this square as my date, stamping the month above and the year below with the dial a letter stamp that's part of the From Me to You collection.
The coordinating stickers from this collection are adorable! Simply adorable! There are also some chalkboard stickers (the black frame behind the tag) that are more grown up and spooky for the older set.
If you're looking for the perfect collection for all those Halloween pictures you will take on Thursday, be sure to save some room in your stash for the Thirty One collection by Pebbles!
There is a certain crispness to that page that really appeals to me. And its a fab photo as well.
