So now we have the whirlwind and chaos of Thanksgiving and Christmas behind us and it's time to move onto New Years Eve and 2014... I don't know about any of you but I am TIRED!! It was a marvelous Christmas with family and friends, that I cannot deny. But the charge from Thanksgiving to Christmas just wore me out! I'm looking forward to a quiet entrance into 2014.
I am wrapping up this year and the 2013 term with Imaginisce with this Project Life style layout of our transition into 2012 as one of my final shares for 2013.
My friend and fellow Pebbles designer, Nina Yang, designed these awesome customizable pocket dies for Avery Elle that I used here to create the library pocket for another journaling tag. I highly recommend it for any of your Project Life or pocket scrapping projects! It's quick and easy and the ability to customize makes it a particularly useful die to have in your collection! Thanks Nina for your innovative design and for sharing with me!
I know these aren't Imaginisce stamps but I had to use them! The cascade of stars and fun sentiments just capture what fun we were having celebrating!
I mixed a number of Imaginisce collections to create this layout, everything from Christmas to Autumn to Summer. I believe I used a little bit of every collection Imaginisce released in 2013! Love this cut file from Miss Kate Cuttables!
Yup, we countdown to 8 o'clock!! LOL!! It has been an annual tradition to spend New Year's Eve at the bowling alley where families countdown to 8 o'clock and adults countdown to the customary midnight. We still have party hats and noise makers! We toast the (soon to be) New Year with fizzy grape juice and all is right in our kidlet world!
This will be the first year we don't go to the bowling alley since we moved here. I'm a tad sad about that decision but also welcome change and beginning a new tradition! What are your plans for welcoming 2014? However you spend yours, I hope you stay safe!
