The Jubilee collection from My Mind's Eye sits along side Pink Paislee's Solstice as one of my all time favorite collections. Like Solstice, I am getting my mileage from this collection. Lots of goodies resulting in lots of layouts!
Heidi Swapp's Project Life cards are a perfect compliment to this collection. The gold of "adore" and the chipboard "xoxo" work so well with the My Mind's Eye collection.
I typically hand write on my pages but this wide, open space required a bit more finesse. Sitting nestled between the gold crown and gold adore, I felt like a more polished effect was necessary, would you agree?
I love how the black and white stripes down the side compliment the photo booth picture strip. The stripes are almost like arrows leading your eye to the picture. It's a bold statement against the floral/polka background.
And the empty date label... Yup... Still have to figure the date out. It was after a movie that we've seen this year. Beyond that, I have no hints. I forgot to write the date on the back of the picture, clearly. I have also discovered that my lifeline caldendar, my iPhone calendar, doesn't remember past events! Once the event is in the past, it is cleared from the calendar... Not very useful for jogging one's memory...
The die cuts and chipboard elements that accompany this collection are the perfect compliments to any layout! I really appreciate the diversitility.
Fabulous page! Love the design and how you used the papers!
