Sorry for the delay in getting this next reading layout up, his layout. We have been off ALL week from school for snow days (AKA bitterly cold and therefore snow is ice days) and I've been busy entertaining my off spring! And there has been quite a bit of head down in a book!
Eating breakfast or dinner, his head is in a book. Waiting for his ride to swimming, his head is in a book. In between events at a swim meet, his head is in a book. On the school bus, his head is in a book. You get the idea! Like Mia the other day, this one too is a book fiend!
I just LOVE the letter stickers that come with Bella Blvd collections; fun and whimsical. The font of "book" is the same as I used on Mia's layout. My thought is the two pages will go side by side in my album (if they ever make it into the sleeve protectors...) and the same font will tie the two pages together.
It's so fun to layer all of the Bella Blvd bits and pieces. I often pull in bits from other collections. NOTE: the background paper is not Bella Blvd. It's actually some REALLY old Lil Davis Designs, something I've hoarded in my collection for a long time. But it's the perfect compliment to the greens. I also had that strip of JilliBean in my strips collection that tied everything together perfectly. I like a small bit of multi color paper that has all or a majority of the colored used which units everything.
Unjournaled... I know. I want Nikolas to begin to write his own story. And that takes time. Coaxing a tween into writing! It's like getting him to mushrooms!
Thanks for popping in today! Are you snuggled in under the blankets waiting for the thaw with a good book too?
