This past week, Paper Issues hosted an online crop. It was, hands down, one of THE best online crops I have ever participated in. The challenges were inspiring and the "atmosphere" was light and uplifting. Encouraging. You felt invited to participate. I can't describe it. It was truly a great experience! Thanks PI team for hosting a fantastic crop! Today I'm sharing my three creations.
NO patterned paper. Not a lick, speck or iota. Tough... This was not easy for me. After designing for Core'dinations as long as I did and loving the core of the cardstock as much as I do, I kinda have a thing for my cardstock. But I succeeded!
I love those letters from Pink Paislee! Okay, I just love this whole collection, who am I kidding?!
This was Kelly's design team challenge. The challenge was to scrap yourself. I scrapped me and my love for this four legged friend of ours! She like my shadow. Where ever I go, she's not far behind. There aren't many pages of me in my albums so I appreciate the challenge!
I love the there are several My Mind's Eye collections on this layout, they all come together so cohesively, it's like they were designed to be paired up.
Corri's color challenge inspired the above layout. I love these colors!! I instantly thought of this Echo Park "Jack and Jill" collection and these particular papers. They worked perfectly with the colors in the picture too. So, this came together quickly thanks to the challenge.
Honestly, the little bits and pieces are more "other" than Echo Park but they all coordinated so well and were perfect for the color challenge that I had a tough time saying no and putting them back in the box unused!
And that is what I managed to get done. There were so many other challenges that would have been easy to complete and resulted in projects I was thrilled with, I just didn't have the time. I really wanted to play along with Jen's sketch challenge and the Little Bits Challenge! I might still use the inspiration!
