I have been pretty fortunate lately to be able to scrap recent events. I don't keep a journal so "current" scrapping is coveted in that it affords me the ability to journal feelings about a refresh memory rather than just concoct the rote "we had so much fun"! May 1st was Michael's birthday and this is how we celebrated;
The kids had a swim on the day of so we celebrated the following day. Michael wanted to go out for dinner and chose Tazzo Kitchen for his birthday grub. We had a scrumptious dinner on the patio! And the kids ordered swank drinks that cost about as much as our fancy alcoholic beverages... Guess that's what celebrating is all about!
I love how the angled headers and footers of patterned paper off set the grid of photos in the center. The confetti look of that background paper from Pink Paislee's new collection adds to the celebratory look!
It's so nice to be able to print my pictures at home! I have really taken advantage of this ability recently and been able to mix things up a bit and scrap different sizes. I used to always print my pictures at Costco as it is on the way home from work and I shop there on a weekly basis. But the instant gratification of having my pictures right away as really appealed to me lately.
Today, as I share Michael's birthday is Mia's birthday! My baby is 9 today! Nine?! It's been a crazy ride and she sure adds a lot of spice and variety to our lives! Happy Birthday Mia Linda!
Happy birthday to both Michael and Mia! And your page is so interesting to look at with those angled papers. Nice to see you in there too :).
