This cat! She truly is the most laid back, accepting, playful, loving feline I know. But then again, I might be a tad biased. She loves the sun light. Light, period. She follows the light around the house and can often be found belly up in a patch of sunlight. The closer that sunlight is to me, the better.
I love how that cut file on top of the yellow looks like yarn as a cat would want to play with. The little bitsof it overlapping the picture and other element make it even more playful and fun, don't you think?
I kept three of the rows of the stripes patterned paper from Bella Blvd intact and cut them up at the length of the phrases I wanted to use. They worked perfectly as sentiments on the page with embellishment clusters incorporated into them.
I love the color combinations that this collection include. I don't know that I on my own would have selected these colors. It's nice to do something unexpected.
Do you have pets? Do you scrap them much? As I was creating this layout I realized several things; 1) I have lots of pictures of my girl that are so difficult to edit and print because she is black and white, 2) I have lots of pictures of Belle but never scrap any of them and lastly 3) I don't think I scrap them because, though she is an integral part of our daily life and family, there is no story to tell really. Other than the 150,000 times I tell Mia to put her down and stop tormenting her... :)
Such a bright and happy page! LOve everything about it!
