You all know my kids swim. You probably already know that Nikolas' "thing" is swimming. He dropped all the other sports and activities to follow his heart, follow his dream. This layout is about the most recent 1650 yard swim he did. A LONG, grueling distance. One that he does quite well in.
This layout is inspired by the November sketch over at Paper Issues. You can see the sketch inspired by a layout created by Becki Adams for Bella Blvd HERE. I interpreted the sketch rather literally. My chevron's might be a tad squatter but otherwise, it's rather to the tee.
That little heart tab is a pull tab for hidden journaling. I had decided I really have a thing for not having my journaling interfere with the flow and look a layout. A small blurb here or there is okay, I can be okay with that. The full monty and meat of story is difficult to convey in a sentence. So, behind the picture it goes!
That brush script title just says it all. The hours put into practice are prohibitive and there is little time for anything else but, it's what he loves. And because he loves it, it is worth the tens of thousands of miles and hours dedicated to the sport!
This layout is a bit of a plethora of manufacturers; some Bella Blvd, Lawn Fawn and Studio Calico. Mostly Bella Blvd. The strike of yet another red, white and blue NOVA (our swim club) layout! Thinking back, most of my swimming layouts feature Bella Blvd too! Coincidence! Pure fluke.
