Hi there! How have things been this far into 2016? I hope all is off to a smooth start for you! Things here have been fairly even keeled, kids are behaving, grades are good, no complaining about swimming/homework/riding/etc. Blessed, to say the least.
I'm popping in today to share my first layout and blog post for Cocoa Daisy. I was invited to join this wonderful group in December and couldn't wait to get started! I created a TON with just the main kit, Day In The Life (DITL) kit and some Buy Your Own Add Ons (BYOAO). I LOVE that you supplement your kit with complementary goodies! While there is plenty in the kit, it's nice to have some extras, especially embellies and letter stickers.
Be sure to head over to the Cocoa Daisy blog to see the inspirational sketch and the layouts that 2 of my fellow team members created. You can find that HERE.
This layout is primarily created from the DITL kit with some add ons for good measure. I even included the glassine bag that some of the goodies come in as another layer.
Love those gold letters from We R Memory Keepers that are the primary letters provided with the Main kit. I used lots of the DITL cards as layers behind the pictures. Some scraps of patterned paper from the main kit and the hexagon stickers created by Pretty Little Studio exclusively for Cocoa Daisy make up the hexagon clusters that "book end" the top and bottom corners of the page.
This is as close as we get to Valentine's day in this house... LOL!! Mia had to swim in a swim meet on Valentine's day. Our club gives the kids ducks for personal best times and for time standard improvements. The theme of the meet and thus the ducks corresponds with the nearest holiday. These were here winnings that she was proud to display and I was only too happy to photograph!
If you haven't heard of Cocoa Daisy, I highly recommend them as a kit club! They even have planner pages that are all the rage! There is a little bit of something for everybody! Play along with the sketch, win some $ to spend in the store and see if the kits strike your fancy. They won't disappoint!
Too cute!! Great design!

Again, another visually delightful page with all kinds of prettiness on it - including your lovely daughter. I can't believe she is growing so fast ...
