Not so recently, about a year ago, in fact, Mia was invited to a birthday party and Jumpology. Jumpology is a place that isn't high on my list of places I would like the kids to be... It's one of those trampoline places. Those trampoline mad houses where kids jump enthusiastically on hundreds of trampolines, big kids, little kids, adults and everything in between. One of my nightmares as a physical therapist who knows the injuries that occur on these things. So, as you can well imagine, I had to think long and hard about an invitation to this party. There was no way it was going to unsupervised by me given that Mia has sustained three broken arm bones already!
One of the two exclusive papers that accompanies the monthly Cocoa Daisy kits was the perfect background for this picture of Mia with two of her swimming friends taken on that day, the birthday girl and another gal. I also thought that the free cut files that are set out to subscribers were the perfect compliment to the wonky scallop background as they mimicked the clouds. Rather like these girls with their head in the clouds jumping around like kangaroo's that day.
It really was a fantastic afternoon for Mia. And it really was a happy, crazy, busy place. Fortunately no injuries or near misses occurred and we walked away unscathed. Not to say that I think I need to take her back to the insanity again. Certainly not without my presence there to remind her of following the rules and staying away from the crazy.
The mix of Simple Stories and We R Memory Keepers both in the kit and represented on the layout are fun and whimsical to me. Christine always does an amazing job of coordinating goodies and shedding new light upon things. If you are looking for a kit club, this is definitely one to consider! Actually, I don't why you would consider any other! Truly!
