Recently my baby entered the double digits. In reflecting back upon her single digit years, I decided it would be fun to have a picture of all those single digit year birthday's together and thus the evolution of the double page spread I'm sharing with you today. You can also find it HERE on the Just Nick blog.
The foundation of the layout is created using this month's FREE (yes, free) digital cut file from Just Nick which is backed with an aqua cardstock. I then went to town filling the squares with Simple Stories' Let's Party collection and a picture from each birthday.
Here's a better look at the left hand page, which happens to be her odd year birthdays;
I love how the colors in the negative spaces of the digital cut file pop from the page. It's refreshing to have a birthday collection that isn't loaded with primary red, white and yellow. Little girls need different colors!
Here is the right hand page;
And a close up;
Be sure to pop on over to the Just Nick shop and use the code TICTACTOEFREE at checkout to get the Tic Tac Toe Background file for free until June 30th!
Aw, this is just lovely, and what a great idea to have them all on one double page like this ... Can't believe your lovely daughter is in double figures! Many congratulations to her, and all of you!
