Another letter sized layout to share with you today. That also happens to be another eclectic assortment of goodies. I was at a crop when I created this one and happened to have picked up bits and pieces of this Kaiser Craft collection. I love the teal/aqua and the black together and thought it worked really well with some of the American Crafts Hall Pass. I rifled around in my travel scraps tote and found other coordinating bits to go and am pleased with the way this one turned out.
We have spent a fair number of our Spring Breaks down in Clearwater, Florida. Not once have I spent more than an afternoon at the pool. Until until this past trip. Now both kids are old enough and eligible for the meet. And, Mia happened to be lucky enough to have made finals every night. So this is where we spent our Spring Break, en famile! Now visualize cheesy, fake "yeah me" smile! LOL!
That touch of yellow in the Studio Calico journal card just pops the setting sun seen through the glass building perfectly, don't you think? Just the right touch!
I wish I had bought more of this particular piece of patterned paper. I really love the overlapping circles. The randomly placed enamel dots here and there are a fun touch. And, of course, sunny Florida must have some fun floral embellishment! I toyed with the idea of watercoloring the flowers but thought the black and white worked perfectly with the effect I have created here.
Another fun, randomly constructed layout! I love how things fall together when you can work with whatever your heart desires. Thanks for popping in today!
